About the exhibition:

Tanc and Polar are both coming from the Graffiti Art world. The first one is from Paris, well known on the French Street Art scene. Tanc is a very creative artist, he can lead us in very different universes. From calligraphy to automatic writing through layers of oil painting or even abstract landscapes gently made with stripes of paper.

And if you take a more careful look, you will realize that each kind of work Tanc proposes is linked by a particular theme: exploration of vibration and rythme. His aesthetic approach, generally mineral, will establish a dialog with Polar's work. Polar is a young artist coming from Montpellier, South of France. His inspiration have various sources: the South of course, its colors and light... His origins also. Polar is indeed French-American. He grew up in France  but went to live in the US, in Washington DC, in order to construct his own experience of this country. Because he is a great traveller, he then visit South America, New Zealand and Australia during two years. All those countries, landscapes and cultures gave its personality to Polar's work. As its initial training as a landscaper did, undoubtedly. This link with nature always  appears in his work and the organic dimension which comes from here give us a feeling of closeness with the paintings.
